Process to make online payment:
- Visit the department website Jharkhandcomtax.gov.in and click on “Click here to pay online’
- After that login with User ID and Password, and if you are not registered on this website, then first you have to do e-registration
- Once you login on the site, click on “e-payment” link, and hit Payment Gateway (Bill Desk)
- Enter complete payment details and submit it
- As soon as you enter your payment, verify input details, and then confirm payment
- The confirmation page will Re-direct to NSDL Credential, where you have to select bank from the drop down list
- Enter net banking username and password, and enter high security password sent to your mobile
- Payment processing – click on “Continue”
- When you submit payment detail, e-Challan will be generated by the site
- Verification of Payment can be done in Payment History
How to do e-registration?
Process to make online registration is very simple, you just need a PC with internet connectivity.
- First, go to Jharkhandcomtax.gov.in and click on “e-registration” page
- On the registration page, you have to select VAT & CST option to register for both Acts simultaneously, fill up the “Registration” form and submit it to create profile
- After that, provide complete details of the person like Applying for, Name, Place of business, mobile no, e-mail id, etc. In the last step, just see the jumbled Alphanumeric Code and type the same in the given box and click on “Submit” button
- As soon as submit your registration form, the message will appear as profile created, check your mail
- Hit ‘Sign in’ button and enter email ID and password, which applicant has provided at the time of registration
- Profile of applicant will be generated successfully. After that, enter secret code for mobile verification
